Southern Thailand - 11 days

A private tour for a group of friends or in family

Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok (Dinner)

Your guide will come pick you up at the Bangkok airport.

Transfer to your hotel. You can relax in the afternoon or enjoy the swimming pool.

In the evening your guide will come pick you up at the hotel around 7pm for a short visit of Bangkok downtown and to have dinner. 

 

Day 2 - Bangkok city tour (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Your guide will come pick you up at the hotel around 8:30am after breakfast for a city tour.

We will first visit the Royal Palace, Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang built in 1782 by Rama the first, the Chakra dynasty founder. It is located on the left bank of the Choa Praya River. You will be able to see the emerald buddha and many other marvels.

Then we will visit the Wat Pho temple where you will see the biggest golden reclining buddha. Then we will take a long boat, typical of Bangkok, along the Cho Pharya River (about an hour). You will experience thai’s lifestyle and admire the city contrasts. 

We will finally visit the Wat Arun temple, which has four “prangs” at each corner that contain the statues of Nayu riding a horse (the God of the wind). This temple is completely covered with mosaics and the roofs are adorned with statues of birds-women.

Back to the hotel around 5pm and free evening.

 

 

Jour 3 - Bangkok - Kanchanaburi (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

We will leave around 7am after breakfast to go to the oldest and most typical floating market of Thailand, the Dam Neon Saduak. We will take the boat so you will be able to admire thai’s life on water.

Then we will drive to Kanchanaburi (about 120 km) where we will have lunch.

After lunch we will visit the Jeath Museum of World War II and we will see the bridge on the Kwai River.

Back to the hotel around 5pm and dinner.

  

Day 4 - Kanchanaburi - Pranburi (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

We will leave at 8am after breakfast.

We will head towards the Pha Nakorn Khiri National Park of king Rama IV, his holiday palace.

Then we will visit the Tham Khao abyss to admire a magnificent buddha.

Then we will reach Pranburi next to the sea.

We will go to the hotel to relax and will come pick you up to go out for dinner.

 

Day 5 - Pranburi - Chumphon (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Your guide will come pick you up at the hotel around 9am after breakfast.

We will take a road along the sea to go to the Sam Roi Yod National Park. Then we will take a boat to go to Tham Praya Nakorn, which is a cave containing a royal Sah (meeting hall) built by Rama V in 1890, a place often lit by rays of lights.

This cave can be reached taking a path along the charming sand beach of Hat Laem Sala surrounded by three limestone hills.

Back to the hotel at Chumphon and dinner.

  

Day 6 - Chumphon - Khao Sok (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Your guide will come pick you up at the hotel around 9am after breakfast.

We will take the road to go to Ratchaprapha Dam, a water reservoir created in 1982 to bring water to the mountainous region in the South.

You will be able to admire more than 100 little islands formed by limestone rocks that appear above the emerald green water. This place is often compared to Guillin in China.

Night and dinner in the Khao Sok National Park

 

Day 7 - Khao Sok - Phuket (breakfast, lunch, dinnerr)

Your guide will come pick you up at the hotel around 9am after breakfast.

We will visit the James Bond Island along the road before arriving on Phuket. Then we will directly drive to Phuket so that you can settle in the hotel and get a fews days well-earned rest.

Your southern tour is finished now. Your guides will go home.

  

Days 8, 9 and 10 - free at your hotel in Phuket where you can profit from the sea.

 

Day 11 - Back to Bangkok
